Located in the heart of the breathtaking and near the city of this picturesque Romanian house is indeed all about the mesmerizing landscape around it. Crafted by the homeowners themselves the project started as a vacation home and soon turned into a full-time residence.

Designed with a sense of visual flair by Smart Design Studio the Lamble Residence gives its denizens 270-degree ocean views along with a mesmerizing glimpse into the Great Dividing Range that lies in the distance. Featuring a unique exterior draped in wood and semi-minimal interiors that bring the beachy vibe indoors this house allows you to relax in style.

An entrance hall that leads to the main living areas is placed in between two large double garages that give the home a distinct street façade. A lovely koi pond and a beautiful entryway leading to this main hall set the tone for the colors and the design style used to shape the interior.

One of the key elements defining the design is the presence of spaces that encourage family activity and constant interaction with nature. A separate television room with movable timber screens in the living area ensures that the kids’ focus is largely kept away from television.

The original grain silos were elegantly incorporated into the floor plan of the new residence and while a design studio occupies the lower level the private quarters of the home are tucked away on the top level. Iconic Mid-Century modern Eames creations accentuate the appeal of the home. Sweeping interiors a really high ceiling exposed truss beams and the heavy wooden floor constantly remind you of the heritage of the place.

Conjured up and brought to life by designer and of Knightline Developments this fabulous house is all about becoming a part of the existing landscape. Instead of opting for an ultra-modern and sleek residence the homeowners wanted a house that had a more tranquil ambiance.

The compact living area with a comfy couch and a bright red chair flows into the adjacent dining space. An exquisite kitchen in white and grey lies on the other side of the room and is separated spatially from the dining area using frameless glass doors. Twin Globus chairs in the kitchen add to the tasteful elegance of the setting.
